Pedigree Entertainment's Halloween-themed painting party returns to Mishawaka on Saturday, Oct. 31, with a portion of the night's profits going to an anti-bullying nonprofit.

The 2nd Annual Halloween Edition Sip & Paint begins at 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Mishawaka Conference Center, 1208 E. Douglas Road, according to the organizer's Eventbrite listing. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the event is open to guests 18 and older.

Organizers say 25% of event profits will go to Rio's Rainbow, an Elkhart-area nonprofit focused on preventing bullying and supporting affected families.

The evening features more than 50 pre-drawn, Halloween-themed canvases for guests to paint. Six live singers, a comedian host, a DJ and a dance floor are also planned.

The event includes local vendors, raffles, a complimentary food buffet and a cash bar.

Three costume contests will offer cash prizes for best male, best female and best couple costumes.

A VIP Experience upgrade includes two complimentary drinks, a gift, upfront seating and early access to the buffet. Free parking is available at the venue.

Supporting Rio's Rainbow

Rio's Rainbow was established in memory of Rio Marie Allred, a 12-year-old Elkhart student who died by suicide in 2022.

The nonprofit works with families affected by bullying and advocates for safer schools, intervention, accountability and support for children.

Its efforts include promoting awareness, encouraging community involvement and advocating for changes to school policies and practices.

Pedigree Entertainment says it donates a portion of its event profits to organizations serving young people in the communities where it holds events.
